Anyone ever date a fellow salesperson or Heavens to Betsy marry one?

I have broken that rule a few  times at the company I am at.  Dated, not married.  It's a decent size office, so we barely seen each other.  One of them, we actually moved in together.

I ask this because I only know of one salesperson who married another and it ended up in a messy divorce. So is it better to find someone who is not in the same industry with the same type of personality?

Husband: Do you want to go to the movies tonight?

Wife: Why do you want to go to the movies tonight? Don't you prefer dinner and a broadway show?

Husband: I don't like broadway shows

Wife: Have you listed the Pros and Cons of going to a broadway show vs. a movie?

nope, I don't get the idea.  I don't see what difference it makes who you date and/or marry and where they work or what they do for a living.

most companies i've worked for have been small (30 ish employes) and not wanting to be office gossip i opted to not date and or marry a co worker no matter their position or title.    Doesnt mean i wasnt tempted though
