Do you have what it takes to be a 2012 Jigsaw MVP?

We’re getting ready to choose our next class of Jigsaw MVPs, and I’m blown away by all the amazing contributions I have seen so far. We have people running LinkedIn groups, posting hundreds of times in The Corner, hosting user group meet-ups, and so much more. Now that is MVP material!

So, what is a Jigsaw MVP? Our MVPs are our most elite members, chosen for their outstanding contributions across several areas of participation. These are the people you can always count on to be at events, those you’ll see speaking at conferences, and the ones who share their vast Jigsaw knowledge by answering questions on the Corner.

You can become an MVP by participating in 3 of these 6 areas:

  • The Corner: Post 250 times
  • Data Defender: Reach and maintain Active Data Defender status
  • User Groups: Host 2 user group meetings
  • Data Contributions: Add 2,500 contacts -OR-  update 5,000 contacts
  • Social Media : Have 50 interactions on social channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)  -OR-  host a Jigsaw or Data.com LinkedIN group
  • Advocacy:  Refer 50 new members  -OR-   speak at an event on Jigsaw’s behalf  -OR-   share a video or photo testimonial

MVPs get special swag, a private forum on the Corner to communicate with each other and the Jigsaw team, an MVP accolade for their Jigsaw profile, and all expenses paid trips to the Annual Rainmaker Event in Las Vegas!

Want to be an MVP but don’t know where to start? Try posting on The Corner – tell us what you think about the member question of the month:  http://community.jigsaw.com/t5/All-Things-Sales/Stickiness/m-p/74977#M8271

Good luck!

GreenieGal - You can check out this link:

I know there is a better link somewhere with a profesional picture lineup, but can't find it right now.

Can you add something regarding Community Tasks into the MVP criteria sometime? The people who spend time in there don't seem to get much play as you don't get rated actions, and I don't believe they count as updates either. Just curious as I do between 500-1000 community tasks a month :smileyhappy:

Is this critera for a calendar year or for cumulative activity?

by Super Enthusiast on 02-22-2012 06:50 PM

Alan - each 12 months. It's a renewable thing, so if you get MVP one time does not automatically mean you will forever. Those of us that made it last year still have to /had to meet the criteria to be selected for 2012 too

Good point, RedTact! The critieria for this year are firm, but I really like that idea for our next class.

AlanSmithee, like Kerrick said, it's for the year. It's not an exact 12 months this time because we'll be counting from last May when we first announced the program until this February 29. Hopefully you'll all get in some final contributions in these next few days!

Kudos to all MVPs, current and new.
