It means that another user has marked the contact as incorrect or inactive. You can send a contact to the graveyard if the phone number is incorrect, if the email is incorrect or if the individual is no longer at the company.
In addition if you find that a contact has been placed in the graveyard incorrectly, you can remove it from the graveyard and then if necessary make any updates or changes to it.
One caution, I have noticed in the past that some users will graveyard a contact if the phone number is not a direct dial. This would be an incorrect graveyard. If the company's main number is used and you can still get through to the individual, then that number is legit. You can update the company phone number with a direct extension for the person or a direct phone line. Youc can not use cell phone numbers however, as cell phone numbers are against Jigsaw policies and will get replaced.
