Not able to add correct email ID....

I have a contact that was graveyarded for worng email ID. I have the correct email ID now, but I am not able to update it, I removed the contact from graveyard, updated the last name and title and that was accepted. When I tried to add the correct email ID it said that the contact already exists and showed the one with the wrong ID. I did not know what to do so I put in graveyard again.... How do I update that now

Jigsaw uses the emails as the key field for each contact.
Create a new contact with the correct email and correct information and that should take care of it.

when I try to do that it takes me back to the graveyarded contact....

From the record with the "bad" email address, you can click "Update with Better Information", then click to "Remove Contact From Graveyard". Once you remove the contact from the graveyard, you should then be able to update the email address to the new "correct" one
