Rated Action

Hi Guys,

I was wondering, what is a rated action?

I have had a few people buy contacts that i have updated but this hasn't contributed to my rating.

Some clarification on this would be great.

Updating a contact does not mean you gained Royalty of that contact.

To get points when some one "buys" the contact you have toi have royalty of that contact.

I suspect that you updated contacts, but it was minor updates, you got the 5 points, but not royalty

There are two types of rated actions, positive and negative.

1. A positive rated action happens when someone purchases a contact you own within 45 days of you adding or updating the contact.

2. A negative rated action happens when someone graveyards your contact within 45 days of you adding or updating the contact.

If either of these actions occur outside of the 45 day window, your rating will not be impacted postively or negatively.

To expand a little further:

As Granbit said, a postive rated action is when somene purchases your contact within 45 days of you adding or updating the contact AND is not sent to the graveyard or someone else takes the royalty within those 45 days

A negative rated action happens when someone purchases your contact AND  graveyards your contact or performs a major update on it within the 45 days and subject to points penalty of -10

The above is only true for CONTACTS. For COMPANIES - 

If you add a company and it is not updated (at all) or Graveyarded for 30 days after your add or update it is a positive rated action

If you add or update a company, and another member updates or graveyards that comapny within the 30 day window, that is a negative rated action and subject to points penalty of -10
